Research methodology / Raziskovalna metodologija

The course Research methodology will enable students to recognise, understand, and address the EU sustainability and digitalisation issues through enhancing their general methodological skills and encourage them to concretely address those issues in action research. The focus of the course is on the thoughtful research plan in the pre-empirical stage, the selection of appropriate evaluation methods for carrying out the research plan, and selecting the research methods, which all lead to the synthesis of theoretical and empirical work. It will be directly linked to transferring theory into practice through students’ civic engagement.

Predmet Raziskovalna metodologija bo študentom omogočil prepoznavanje, razumevanje in obravnavanje vprašanj EU trajnosti in digitalizacije s krepitvijo njihovih splošnih metodoloških veščin in jih spodbudil k konkretnemu reševanju teh vprašanj v akcijskem raziskovanju. Poudarek predmeta je na premišljenem raziskovalnem načrtu v predempirični fazi, izbiri ustreznih evalvacijskih metod za izvedbo raziskovalnega načrta ter izboru raziskovalnih metod, kar vse vodi v sintezo teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Neposredno bo povezan s prenosom teorije v prakso skozi aktivno udejstvovanje študentov.
