Socio-cultural aspects of information society

The course will provide the ability of inter-disciplinary scientific and expert dialogue and cooperation with other professional profiles in social sciences and informatics with the aim of presenting the gained scientific findings in the form of publications in the international scientific periodicals. The focus is on the practical preparations for conducting a research work for the needs of a master thesis. The students should be able to conduct a study for the solution of complex theoretical and/or empirical problem, through which they advance and deepen acquired theoretical and methodological skills.

Predmet bo zagotavljal sposobnost interdisciplinarnega znanstvenega in strokovnega dialoga ter sodelovanja z drugimi strokovnimi profili družboslovja in informatike z namenom predstavitve pridobljenih znanstvenih dognanj v obliki objav v mednarodni znanstveni periodiki. Poudarek je na praktičnih pripravah na izvedbo raziskovalnega dela za potrebe magistrskega dela. Študent mora biti sposoben izvesti študijo za rešitev kompleksnega teoretičnega in/ali empiričnega problema, skozi katero nadgrajuje in poglablja pridobljena teoretična in metodološka znanja.
